Der Laden is a free-of-charge counselling initiative launched by IG Metall. Our stated goal is to support refugees by providing vocational guidance, inciting them to develop their own career prospects and also preparing and assisting them with their first steps into the German working world.

 

We are particularly committed to supporting those seeking advice to enhance their future prospects in Germany. In doing so, one of our core missions is to communicate one-on-one, free of unnecessary hierarchies. Our open counselling and support services aim to make a positive contribution to the participation and integration of refugee women, children and

men in our society.

 

Der Laden offers counselling by appointment:

A combination of time and a calm professional environment is a key factor for handling the broad spectrum of our counselling services and other support programmes. For this reason, counselling is available by prior

appointment only.
